Queen Eleanor Primary Champions Ambition, Equity, and Opportunity Through Inspiring Enrichment Offer

Queen Eleanor Primary School has launched a dynamic new co-curricular and enrichment programme designed to ensure every child can thrive both in and beyond the classroom.

The QEP Co-Curricular Offer 2025–26 provides a wealth of experiences — from debating, journalism, and coding to Muay Thai, fencing, and performing arts — all carefully linked to the school’s Personal Development Framework. The programme’s aim is clear: to give every pupil the chance to discover their talents, build confidence, and live out the school’s core values of Ambition, Equity, and Opportunity.

Ambition drives pupils to try new things, set personal goals, and take pride in their achievements.

Equity ensures every child can access the same high-quality experiences, supported by Pupil Premium funding where needed.

Opportunity opens doors to new skills, friendships, and passions that can last a lifetime.

Headteacher Mr Wallace explained:

“We want Queen Eleanor to be a place where children dream big, where every pupil feels they belong, and where opportunities are open to all. Our new enrichment programme is a powerful way to make that vision real.”

Mr Wallace, Headteacher

Sports Enrichment and PE lead, Jonathan Dale, said that:

We’re really excited and proud of our new enrichment offer; we really have prioritised providing a broad range of activities to our students whilst also seeking to inspire a love of sport and physical activity’.

Mr Dale, PE Lead

The school’s innovative Golden Time and After-School Club structure ensures enrichment is part of every pupil’s week, while leadership roles such as House Captains, Peer Mentors, and Diversity Ambassadors empower students to contribute actively to school life.

Parents and pupils have already described the new offer as “exciting”, “inclusive”, and “a real highlight of the week”.
